HOUSE RULES

The BkBeats committee, in cooperation with the Delftsch Bouwkundig Studenten Gezelschap Stylos, located at Julianalaan 132-134, has drawn up the following house rules and general ticket conditions for the BkBeats event on April 20, 2024. Everyone who considers coming to this event must agree to the following house rules and general conditions:.

  1. HOUSE RULES BKBEATS

    • Visitors who violate the house rules or laws may be removed from the event site with no chance of re-entry or ticket refund. Purchased coins or other value products are only valid during this edition of BK Beats and are non-refundable.

    • Admission is only open to visitors in possession of a valid ticket and ID. Also, visitors must be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Visitors under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be denied entry.

    • Visitors should behave in a calm and restrained manner when arriving or leaving near the Faculty of Architecture in order to prevent inconvenience to local residents. For security reasons, visitors may be searched. Visitors must cooperate with this. At the entrance, you will be searched for hard drugs, soft drugs, and party drugs. If you are found to have drugs in your pocket, depending on the quantity, you may be fined or even imprisoned by the police. The decision on the punishment will be made by the Public Prosecutor's Office.

    • You are not allowed to bring in food, drink, drugs, stickers, or markers. It is again forbidden to bring liquids, glassware, cans, bottles, graffiti, markers, weapons or objects that can be used as weapons, fireworks, or any material that is highly flammable or explosive onto the premises, as well as any kind of material or object that can be dangerous. Objects that are not admitted to the event will not be taken into custody. Weapons, knives, and hard drugs are prohibited. The police will be notified in the event of their detection.

    • Instructions from the organization, security personnel, or TU Delft personnel must be followed at all times.

      During the event, it is not allowed to:

      • Take medication without a doctor’s prescription

      • Take animals;

      • Trade in soft and/or hard drugs;

      • Trade goods (including admission tickets) and/or being guilty of receiving stolen goods;

      • Commit vandalism and/or theft. Any damage caused will be recovered from the perpetrator(s);

      • Distribute promotional material in and around the building without permission from the organization.

      During the event, visitors may be exposed to noise levels above 80 dBA. Protection of hearing is the visitor's own responsibility. Smoking is prohibited on the event grounds. Smoking is therefore not permitted atthe event. This also applies to electronic cigarettes.

      It is not allowed to be annoying, aggressive, discriminatory, or intimidating to other visitors. It is also forbidden to bring professional photos, film, or other types of recording equipment. Professional refers to cameras with replaceable lenses.

      Violation of the above house rules will void the validity of the ticket, and access to the event will be denied. If serious violations are found, visitors will be detained and handed over to the police. If criminal offenses are found, they will be reported to the police. Irregularities (such as fake tickets, attempts to climb over the fences, etc.) will also be reported to the police.

      Are you or one of your friends not doing well? Ask for help or go to the emergency room yourself. This is where emergency workers will be there for you. The better you indicate what exactly is going on, the faster they can help you. So feel free to call things by their names, as medical confidentiality applies here as well.

      The means of payment on the grounds is the digital BkBeats coin. You can buy this in our digital EasyPay application with a debit or credit card.

      If you lost items at BkBeats, please send an email to bkbeats@stylos.nl. BkBeats is not responsible for lost property at the event. All lockers will be emptied the following morning (April 21, 2024). The remaining contents will be placed with the lost and found. If you lost your locker code, your locker will also not be opened by us until April 21, 2024.

      And: Do not disturb our neighbors going in and out!

2. GENERAL TICKET CONDITIONS

  • Festival visitors are entitled to a refund of entry fees if the event is cancelled by the event organizers themselves. This is only the case whenever the reason for the cancellation is not caused by external effects. In these cases, the ticket holder is not entitled to a full refund. The festival visitor is responsible for complying with the applicable measures regarding epidemics and events. These measures will be communicated on the social networks of BkBeats and D.B.S.G. Stylos before the event. If a visitor to the festival unexpectedly cannot comply with the applicable measures regarding epidemics and events according to the RIVM, this visitor has no right to a refund of entrance fees.

3. PRIVACY POLICY
